Trees Of Caring Alliance
Free Fresh Fruit

CINAAR has moved to a new location on an acre and a half in north east Hillyard. CINAAR has started a new program “Trees Of Caring Alliance” that will produce fresh fruit, nuts and berries free to the low income in the Spokane Area for many years.

Starting the spring of 2004, with the help of people in the community, as well as business sponsors CINAAR will set out 1000 semi dwarf fruit trees, nuts and berry vines, that will start bearing fruit in two years. Within three years CINAAR will be providing fifty thousand pounds of fresh fruit a year for low income and in four years the trees will produce approximately one hundred thousand pounds of fruit, nuts and berries a year.

Each tree will cost and average of ten dollars. Every ten dollars donated will provide one hundred pounds of fresh fruit for low income (after four years) for years to come. Also your donation is tax deductible.

CINAAR is requesting donations from businesses, organizations and individuals to raise twenty thousand dollars to purchase trees and supplies. There are benefits to those that care and donate, a tag will be placed on each tree letting the public know who donated the tree plus you will receive a CINAAR quarterly newsletter. On the tag you can donate in memory of a person or love one. A statement can be made about the person you are donating the tree for or you can donate just because and make a statement or you can use CINAAR’s standard statement that will be designed by CINAAR’s board. Your statement should be fifty words or less, twenty-five on each side of the tag that is placed on the tree.
